Pine Lake State Park

Part 1 of 2 from my mini trip to a couple Iowa places that I have not been before. First stop was Pine Lake State Park up by Eldora, IA. This lake was a nice surprise surrounded with pine and deciduous trees. The water was flat calm with relatively few individuals out on the water fishing. This lake would be perfect for canoeing or kayaking! There is a nice paved bike trail along the west side of the lake as well as a nice hiking trail along the east side of the lake.
