Saylorville Lake Sunsets
Saylorville Lake is a man-made reservoir just north of Des Moines, Iowa. The lake covers about 9.3 square miles. It’s relatively close to where we live so I’ve been taking advantage of the nice weather lately for some new lake sunset shots to add to my collection. I’m really excited about the new Cokin tobacco filter that I purchased; you’ll see it in use in one of the images below. I also have an ND8 on it’s way so that should add an interesting effect on moving clouds at near sunrise/sunset.
Really like this little wetland area next to the lake.

I took this one the other night with my new Cokin Graduated Tobacco (T1) filter. I really like the possibilities that this filter has and look forward to trying it out some more.
